    Mitsubishi Lancer Evo III RS, 1996 M Reg, bought into the UK in 2006 and purchased from the Jap car specialist (AutoBMC) that imported the car and owned by him for nearly 9 years.
    The car was converted into MPH at time of import and finding spare parts for it is no problem. General servicing has been done by him and just before Christmas had done engine oil, gearbox oil, rear diff oil, transfer box oil, power steering oil and brake fluid at a garage in Old Windsor
    Cam belt was replaced in 2006 & then again in 2011 when it had a top end overhaul carried out at Toulmin Motors in Windsor. This was done at a cost of 1300. In 2012 she had a new clutch by the same garage which cost 700 fitted. A new exhaust was put on her in 2013 and was a Stainless unit. The turbo was changed in 2014.
    There is a whole folder of receipts dating from 2006 for parts purchased and service work along with all the old MOT’s from import.
    This car has been owned and used by him and the reason for selling is he has recently had a new knee and has been advised that he should look to buy an automatic car now. L The car has been his daily driver and since being in the UK has never been used for track days or thrashed. He did have it on a rolling road and she was producing 304hp back in 2007. Since then she has had some modifications including a sports cat and the aforementioned new turbo and stainless exhaust. (Only went this route as Mitsubishi wanted over 900 for the cat only????)
    Other than a few small modifications such as those above, and the addition of the the GSR Recaro seats in the front, the car is very standard. It has been the way he wanted to keep it as it has only ever been a road car therefore did not require any further performance upgrades.
    She was recorded as a CAT C in 2008 following a slow speed accident at a roundabout, the bonnet, lights, radiator were damaged, bumper etc. It was all repaired and VOSA checked a couple of months later.
