Default Clutch master cylinder kit/oil drain plug.

Hey daveautolinker.com autolinking image,
My car is a 1994 GSR.Could you check for a clutch master cylinder rebuild kit?

And an oil drain plug/oil temp sending unit?

Someone cut the wires off flush on the sender before I got the car.

How much for a quicker shipment to me,Newfoundland,Canada,postal code A1K 1C9 ?

Sent you PM about the rebuild kit. As for the oil temp sender, I'm not sure as the part isn't coming up on the parts system. Will have a look around for you.

I'm not too sure on this, but I would think the previous owner may just have used the oil temp sensor as a temporary oil drain bung.

Certainly wouldn't be my first choice of place for monitoring oil temp, and its not the place Mitsi put their stock oil temp sensors either.

Have you traced where the wiring from the gauge heads to?

That's a good call. Can anyone with this DIN gauge setup confirm where the oil temp sensor is placed?

Yes,it ends up along the side of the engine bay and has been taped to the plastic shield just over from the drain plug. Two wires there and the cut matches the sender, but that is not to say it is the proper orginal sender.

I would have thought the sender would have been up near the cooler someplace.

Anyone else have this gauge in their car?

Hmm...

Think the previous owner may have been a bit of a spanner then!

Seriously, get the sensor routed to one of the blanking plugs on the oil filter housing. Much better place for oil temps, and is a lot safer than having wires under the car around the sump, as its a potential to get caught and ripped off. You will prob need to run an adapter for the threads in the housing though. (And I cant remember off the top of my head what thread type it is either. )

Besides, its less of a pita when it comes to doing oil changes...

Say daveautolinker.com autolinking image, could you check for the oil drain plug/sending unit for a 2005 Evo VIII MR?

One of my US friends saw the pictures of the plug and gauge package and it was standard on US MR's....he has the exact same setup. As long as the thread pitch/size is good that should do the job.

Edit.PS could I also get a Cusco Hyper Gum kit?

The steel insert on one of my shifter base bushings is actually oval in shape.

Might have been on the US models, but there's nothing here I can find on the JDM models. The diagrams for the oil plug don't show any sort of sending unit on it.

Will PM you about the Cusco kit though
